The Anapurna M² is a complete, turnkey UV inkjet system for heavy-duty, industrial applications. It is a robustly engineered high-speed, wide format industrial inkjet printer, which produces very high quality output on a broad range of roll-to-roll and rigid media for the ‘print for pay’ industry.
Speed and Power
The Anapurna M² produces top quality display output at 23 m²/h in 6-colour mode. This speed ensure high print production on all substrates, fulfilling the requirements of even the most demanding customers. Increased speed leads to increased workload, allowing the Anapurna to help drive additional revenues for your business.
Print Quality by Design
The Anapurna M²‘s six 12 picolitre heads guarantee printing, fine text reproduction up to 6 pt, sharp solids, good tonal rendering and all with low ink consumption. As well as the six colour printheads (CMYK Lc Lm ) the printer is designed to be a robust and industrially engineered system that is capable of extreme and sustained work loads.
The 1024 nozzles can produce very high quality 720 x 1440 dpi outputs directly onto uncoated rigid media, such as rigid plastics, corrugated boards, stage graphics, exhibition panels and advertising panels. The roll media capability enables direct printing to film, vinyl and paper, canvas and banners of up to 4.5 cm thick.
Focus on Ink
Agfa’s dedicated Anapurna UV-curable inks deliver high colour vibrancy from a large colour gamut. The inks provide good adhesion, long term image protection and high outdoor durability. The Anapurna ink system is easy to maintain with ink levels continuously monitored by the automatic ink refill system. Prints are ready to handle immediately after leaving the engine because of the Anapurna ink’s instant curing.
Automatic vacuum system
The Anapurna M²'s automatic vacuum system delivers an equal vacuum throughout the whole printing process, whether printing roll or rigid materials. This ensures flawless media transport, giving accurate print results at all times! The ring-blower driving the vacuum system is built-in in the printer, reducing the noise to a minimum for even more user convenience.
Shuttle safety sensors
The Anapurna M² incorporates a set of shuttle safety sensors to prevent printheads from touching the substrate. This avoids any possible damage to print-heads.
Media registration bar
Media loading is very straightforward with automated features such as the media registration bar and head height adjustment.
Ionizer bar avoids electro static loads
An ionizer bar sees to it that there are no electrostatic loads on the substrate, ensuring optimum ink droplet control and therefore delivering the highest print quality.
Borderless printing means for you no loss of time cutting, less manpower and no wasted material. You print exactly what your customers order. Nothing more, nothing less!
Dual board printing
With the Anapurna engines you are able to feed through multiple boards in one and the same print run, maximizing the productivity of this state-of-the-art piece of machinery. Working faster will also reduce your costs, making your business more profitable and making it easier for you to offer your customers more attractive price quotations.
Automatic refill system
Ink levels are automatically detected in the main ink tanks. Both visible and audible warnings notify the user of low levels. Both warnings notify the operator of low ink level ensuring the production is maintained.
Roll ánd rigid printing
Switching between rigid and roll media is instant. Therefore :Anapurna M² delivers exceptional print quality on a wide variety of indoor and outdoor media on uncoated rigid media, such as corrugated boards, rigid plastics, exhibition panels, stage graphics and advertising panels, as well as roll media such as film, vinyl and paper, canvas and banners up to 4,5 cm thick.
Customer changeable lamps
The UV lamps are also easy to change that no service intervention is needed at all. and this helps to keep the total costs to a minimum.
Automatic print head height
Print head height is automatically set to the thickness of the substrate up to 5 cm thick. User definable head gap is possible from 1 to 6 mm.
The user can perform many of the maintenance functions themselves guaranteeing a maximum uptime of the :Anapurna M system.
Easy User Interface
Comprehensive information on the user interface shows you how to operate the :Anapurna , simple and clear. It also show the status of the engine at any time.
